Spain is a specialism
for Sarah who is a fluent Spanish speaker...

Giralda, Sevilla

EVERYTHING SPAIN

Sarah was appointed launch editor of Everything Spain magazine (2003 to 2005), a title sold in the UK and the Spanish mainland, covering Spanish destinations, property, food and drink, fashion, culture and traditions.

Now working in a freelance capacity, she liaises closely with The Spanish Tourist Office in London and continues to travel regularly to Spain and to write for UK consumer magazines and newspapers about the country. She is a regular contributor to Spain and Living Abroad magazines and the bilingual title Ocio Magazine.

FOCUSING ON SPAIN

Sarah lived and worked in the capital of Castile and Leon, Segovia, and is knowledgeable about Spanish history, culture and traditions. She has travelled extensively across the peninsula, writing on subjects varying from travel to history to culture to the arts scene to gastronomy.

She has been a lifelong Hispanophile: “With so many cultures, landscapes, languages and autonomous regions, Spain is a country you don’t tire of,” she says. “Most people visualise the heat and bright colours of Andalucia when they think of Spain but that image represents only a tiny segment of the country and fails to represent the complexity and variety of the place, the people and their very different cultures.”
